Hear & Be Heard
An introduction to compassionate communication

How often have you lost connection with someone because of misunderstandings and judgments?

Have you ever tried to speak up to make it better, only to make it worse?

Would you rather be able to hear and be heard in a way that brings you closer together?

Compassion, honesty, understanding, connection…

…we all long for it, but let’s face it – it’s not always so easy!

In this workshop, based on Marshall Rosenberg’s ‘Nonviolent Communication’, I will introduce principles and practices to support you in developing compassionate understanding for yourself and others.

We will be exploring skills and tools for …

• keeping your heart open to the human longings behind each other’s words, even during conflict
• expressing yourself fully and honestly (and still being heard!)
• going beyond ideas of rightness and wrongness and turning conflict into connection

A World That Works For All
An interactive 8-week online course based on Nonviolent Communication

Would you like to learn…

• how to turn conflict into connection?
• specific tools for dialogue and collaboration?
• being welcomed with your honesty?
• empathic listening skills?
• the art of resolving inner conflicts (self-compassion)?

In this course I’m looking forward to sharing principles and practices of NVC for anyone interested in skills and tools for true collaboration and catalyzing a culture which embraces compassionate understanding and the mutual fulfillment of human needs.

When:
8 sessions on Tuesdays 19:00 – 21:00 UTC+2 (The Netherlands)
2 July – 20th August 2019

All sessions will take place online via Zoom. In each session you can expect to learn and embody specific elements and principles of NVC through a balance of theory and practices. After each session there will also be an optional 30 minutes for anyone who would like to stay longer to ask further questions and/or share more deeply together in the group.
